IAJ’s and EAJ’s condolences and solidarity to the Spanish Association of Judges for the terrorist attack in Barcelona, Thursday, August 17th, 2017

The President of the International Association of Judges, Mr Christophe Régnard, the President of the European Association of Judges, Regional Group of the I.A.J., Mr José Manuel Igreja Matos and the Secretary-General of the I.A.J., Mr Giacomo Oberto, on behalf of the Presidency Committee and of the Secretariat-General of the I.A.J. express their condolences and solidarity to the colleagues of the Spanish Association of Judges, member of the I.A.J., as well as to the Government and the people of Spain for the shocking terrorist attack which occurred yesterday in Barcelona, a city which is particularly dear to I.A.J., since it hosted its annual meeting in 2015.
