An institutional framework for judicial independence in Europe

Organized by the European Network of Councils of the Judiciary, the European Association of Judges (EAJ) participated on a virtual meeting along with the Association of the Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the EU (ACA-Europe) and the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union (RPCJSUE).

The four judicial networks that represent the EU Judges decided to engage in a more closer and fruitful cooperation for the challenging times ahead.

The European Association of Judges underlines the importance of this starting partnership with such relevant institutions and expresses its commitment to speak with one voice, the voice of judges, on certain fundamental items for the future of Europe.

These meetings will now be held on a monthly basis.
