Human Rights Champion and Former Justice Minister Robert Badinter Joins EAJ’s Appeal about Turkey on “Le Monde”

A very important appeal for the protection of human rights and of the independence of the Judiciary in Turkey has been launched on the French newspaper “Le Monde” by former Justice Minister and worldwide known Human Rights Champion Robert Badinter (who was the promoter of the abolition of death penalty in France, under the presidency of François Mitterrand). The statement has been jointly issued by EAJ, USM (French Association “Union Syndicale des Magistrats”), the “Syndicat de la Magistrature” and MEDEL.
