Poland:Resolution of the Assembly of Representatives of Judges of the Regional Court in Kraków of 26 Feb 2018

With regard to the forthcoming changes in the composition and the mode of functioning of the National Council of the Judiciary and the Supreme Court of Poland, which are going to enter into force in March and April 2018, please find hereiafter a copy of the extract from the Resolution of the Assembly of Representatives of Judges of the Regional Court in Kraków.

Above-mentioned Resolution articulates the deepest concern of the vast majority of judges of the Kraków region with respect of possibility of breaching of the rule of law and independence of the judiciary in Poland which are under the threat due to the unconstitutional legislative changes.
