CoE’s Secretary-General replies to EAJ’s President letter on Turkey

The Secretary-General of the Council of Europe has replied in a positive manner to the letter sent by the EAJ’s President Christophe Régnard about the situation of judges and prosecutors in Turkey.
According to Mr Jagland, the Council of Europe is following closely the developments of the situation; he provided as well information on future actions aiming at strengthening judicial independence and impartiality in Europe.
