IAJ’s Annual Meeting in Mexico City Confirmed

The IAJ’s Secretariat-General informed all National Associations that, taking into account the new conditions that suddenly developed positively for our Mexican colleagues, the 2016 IAJ’s Annual Meeting will take place, as originally scheduled in Mexico City (Mexico) from 16 to 21 of October 2016.
We apologise for any inconvenience that might have occurred in the meantime, but, according to the information sent by our Mexican colleagues about a month and a half ago, it appeared that the conditions for the organisation of the meeting were lacking. Now our colleagues informed us that the situation has changed, so we do hope to be able to send you the invitation letter in the next days with all the necessary information.
We take advantage of this message to officially thank those National Associations which expressed or offered their willingness to host the IAJ annual meeting. In particular, I refer to Chile, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Morocco, Yucatan State (Mexico) and Switzerland. Pls. do consider that in Mexico City the Central Council will have to decide about date and venue of the annual meeting in 2017. I am therefore inviting all Associations to consider their possible candidatures for next year(s).
