IAJ’s Solidarity to Belgium

Following the tragic events in Brussels’ Airport and Underground Station yesterday, the President of the IAJ, together with the Presidency Committee, the Secretary-General and the Secretariat-General, also on behalf of all IAJ members, express their solidarity and profound compassion to the victims of these terrible terrorist attacks, their families and loved ones. The attack on Brussels is an attack on Europe and on the ideals of freedom and rule of law.
In this moment of mourning and deep sadness, the International Association of Judges and the European Association of Judges feel very close to the Belgian Association, as well as to all Belgian colleagues and all those who believe in the ideals of justice and peaceful coexistence among human beings.
