The Ibero American Group, regional group of the IAJ, issued a declaration regarding the arrest order issued by the Venezuelan General Prosecutor’s Office against Argentinean judges and prosecutors on the basis of judicial decisions and actions in cases handled in Argentina, pointing out that the criminalisation of the judicial function due to the content of the decisions and actions of judges and prosecutors may reflect the intention to intimidate and persecute them.
