Statement on the continuing disregard for the independence of the Judiciary in Kiribati and the continued suspension of High Court Judge David Lambourne.
Following previous statements dating back to 2021, a new statement on the current situation in Kiribati has been issued by the Commonwealth Magistrates’ and Judges’ Association (CMJA), the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA).
