During its 39th plenary meeting, held on 6 and 7 December in Strasbourg, the CEPEJ (European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice) elected Hon. Justice Mr. Francesco DEPASQUALE (Malta) President and Hon. Judge Ivan CRNČEC (Croatia) Vice President. Mr. Depasquale (who follows on from Hon. Justice Mr. Ramin Garagurbanli, from Azerbaidjan) is also President of the Association of Judges of Malta, Member of the IAJ and of the EAJ. IAJ and EAJ enjoy the Observer Status in the CEPEJ. Congratulations from the IAJ and EAJ Presidency Committees, as well as from the Secretariat-General to the new CEPEJ President!
